And just to answer my own post- that is one really nicely done FAQ!

The primary copy has moved to:
http://www.sqn.co.uk/Jazz/rmmgjFAQ.html

but the old copy still seems to be active.

>> submit it to news.answers so that it does turn up at faqs.org?
>
> Having now seen Arthur's post, I suppose he's the person I should be
> asking. :)

Working on it.
It will be a pointer to the existing FAQ

I've always felt that there are indeed some glaring omissions in the
FAQ that
really should be addressed to preserve the integrity of this
newsgroup.

I've been posting here since at least 1998 (admittedly under various
screen names, since I still don't own a computer- I'm still not
convinced that this whole operation isn't some vast conspiracy,
orchestrated by- well, maybe I shouldn't go into that here) and I feel
I should have as much an input as anyone else on this board.

Specifically this would deal with such questions from the FAQ as:
" Q. Who is the greatest living jazz guitarist?
A. Well, we've analyzed all the neccessary data- DB polls, record
sales, concert reviews, opinions of most jazz guitarists currently in
the field- and, of course, we've come up with, George Benson.
Q. Who is/was the greatest jazz guitarist of all time, living or
dead?
A. Well, again, we know a lot more about this subject than you, or
anyone else on the planet, and we'd have to go with, George Benson.
Q. Who is the greatest human being that ever lived?
A. George Benson, of course.
Q. Who has the biggest dick in the history of the world?"

I guess I don't have to write down the answer to that last
question, distasteful as it is, but I still can't help thinking that
there might be some type of bias going on in the FAQs, but I really
can't put my finger on it:)
