Donell Jones is perhaps one of the most underrated artists in R&B
today.
The Chicago-based singer/songwriter/musician kicked off his career
penning songs for R&B acts like 702, Brownstone, Silk and Usher. Donell
Jones launched his solo career in 1996 with the critically lauded My
Heart which featured the sleeper hit "In The Hood" and a wicked cover
of Stevie Wonder's "Knocks Me Off My Feet."
Journey of a Gemini (LeFace Records) is his fourth album and while it
may not be remembered as his best outing, it certainly is a decent one.
