#1: Happy Birthday, John Lodge

Posted on 2006-07-21 02:48:47 by missmoodyblues

It's someone's birthday today.

Back in 1945, a bouncing baby boy with a mischievious smile & bass
guitar was born. That beautiful boy has come a long way since then.

Have a wonderful day, John. May it be filled with love, laughter,
music, golf & wine (in moderation, of course).

"Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday, dear John
Happy Birthday to you
And many more..."

Keep the faith,
Katie

He actually came out of the womb with a miniature bass guitar? Like a
Barbie sized guitar? Now, that's really something, never heard that
one before. That should be on Ripley's Believe it or Not .. That
ranks up there with the story I once heard about how it snowed boulders
and millstones out in Colorado.

Why drink in moderation on a special day? I would indulge my taste for
booze and wine on special occassion and wake up with a hangover. There
is an ancient chinese proverb:

"he who passes out drunk wakes up with sticky fingers, grasshopper"

Now, I don't know what the hell that has to do with John Lodge, but it
sounds so cool..

peace out,
Ty Steel

Consume the wine.
Don't let the wine consume you.

Hopefully, this is the proverb he will listen to.

Send me no wine
To make an invitation.
Leave me no time
In your imagination.
Only to find
Words in your mind
They're gonna make you, leave your,
Leave your heart behind.

This is the ONE and ONLY Moody song I WILL tap the 'next'
button on. Just something about the way it's done. The lyrics don't
bother me, but it just grates on my nerves!!!
