Throughout an international music career that spans almost 30 years,
veteran folk singer and Wind River recording artist Rod MacDonald has
performed at many of the world's finest clubs, coffeehouses, and major
festivals. As distinctive an entertainer as he is a songwriter, Rod's
engaging delivery, multi-textured voice, timeless ballads and modern
folk songs continue to place him among the elite of singer-songwriters
performing in North America today.

Known for his delightful political and social satire showcased in his
distinctive eclectic brand of music, Rod will be performing songs from
his newest CD, "A Tale of Two Americas", and many of his well-known and
often-requested earlier classics such as "American Jerusalem",
considered his signature song, and which clearly depicts the contrast
between New York's rich and poor.

Rod will perform at Westside Cafe on Thursday, August 24, 2006, 8:00
