#1: Na Caberfeidh / Rare Air - seeking critiques, comments, reaction...please

Posted on 2006-06-13 03:17:58 by yougotlucky215

I purchased the "Na Caberfeidh: Rare Air" album about 20 years ago, by
the Canadian folk innovators who included a bagpiper, Patrick O'Gorman
in their line-up. Of course, I loved it.

I did not or have not ventured further into the catalog of this sadly
defunct outfit (as I have heard of it) in the interim, but now I would
like to get my feet wet with another purchase, even if used, even if

Some of the other titles I have heard of are:

Mad Plaid
Hard To Beat

Which of these might be my next best purchase, or if you were/are a
fan, and/or which do you feel is their strongest offering? Even if you
own only one of the above, I'd love to hear from you. But if you
purchased two or more, of course you'll be able to compare them for
me...if you are so kind.

If there is a better place to post my question, or the nature of it,
guidance in lieu of above would also be most appreciated.

Thank-you to anyone who can help.

Tom Blumenthal
