#1: John Lodge has a New Do!

Posted on 2005-05-09 04:14:05 by NeptuneBob

Has anyone here seen the photos for the moodies 2005 tour? I notice
that John no longer has a perm, its more of blowout, I wonder if he
uses a gel? I think its a neat look! I wonder if they got a new
hairdresser?

I always kind of thought that John wore a toupee'. Probably the reason
why John no longer has a perm is because of hair loss; at his age a lot
of his hair is just naturally falling out. His hair is probably styled
in this new way so as to comb over the bald spots.

I do like the new do though, kind of looks like Richard Dean Anderson
(McGyver). Actually Ty, I still have all my hair and so did my father
although his was all gray, but not bald. Now I think some men who are
balding should just shave all the hair off and have a bald look. Might
you do that?

At least his hair isn't stringy and greasy as I'm sure yours is.
You're an asshole, Ty. Try saying something positive if you can bring
yourself to. What an idiot. John's hair happens to be nice and thick
and I've been close enough to see many times. There are no bald spots.

Nep, is Ty going through his "pulsing head" phase again? This happens with
increasing regularity it seems as the pressure builds from trying to be nice
if only for a little while.

I am glad to see Nep offering some much needed advice to brother peace love
dove Ty. Hair care and medication... hummm... a nice combination to consider
for someone that appears to suffer from a case of low self esteem. A
wardrobe refresh might be in order as well. Nep, you did say Ty might suffer
from low self esteem didn't you? I thought so. You may be right.

You know The Moody Blues are doing something right when they have people as
upset as Ty howling at the moon. It reminds me of those good ol' fashion
exorcisms that everyone loved to watch so very very much. Praise the lord
and pass the tomatoes...

JustMe do you really think Ty might have hair that is all stringy and
greasy? You might be on to something there. Maybe that is why Nep is trying
so hard to help Ty. He could sure use the help.

Oh well, back to listening to OtToaD...

And another thing...

"and your little dog too..."

Wizard,
If Ty's hair is greasy then he should start with Pert shampoo, even
though licensed cometologists say it is too strong for most people's
hair. It should remove excess oils, making a conditioner much more
effective.

I do believe that Ty has made some progress, but he is a work in
progress so we all have to support him improvement. I do believe he is
going to a center or program for care. Hopefully, he is recieving
medication, social skills training, career training, and personal
development. We should all support him!

Now Ty, maybe this is a good time to work on appearance and wardrobe
care. Your future can be brighter!

Nep,

Pert is a good idea! Pert Plus even. I suspect Ty does have real oily hair
that makes it smell since it holds in head sweat. Pert will do a dandy job
of reducing some of that unflattering fragrance too I suspect. He may also
need the advantage the dandruff version might have on him too.

It is hard to tell if Ty has made any progress. Truthfully, he has been
stuck in this gear for a very long time. He discovered this newsgroup way
back. Around 1998 or so. You could feel the black cloud of doom come over
the newsgroup even then. It reminds me of the movie "The Never Ending
Story". Perhaps he might like that movie too since it has an uplifting
ending. He needs some uplifting. Praise the lord and pass the chili.

He'll need some good appliances to support that sporting new wardrobe. I'm
sure you can make the appropriate recommendations. A Moody Blue color of
anything should do the trick!

another day's useless energy spent..."

Wizard, I'll be glad to advise Ty and everyone who needs to be
informed. Meanwhile, does anyone plan to go to this summer's concerts?
Seems like every year, all Pittsburgh gets is Chipuko.

Wizard,
One problem with Ty is he expects the Moody Blues to be perfect and
they're not. Now I like Billy Joel, I think some of his songs are great
(An Innocent Man, Uptown Girls, Tell her about it) and some I don't
like at all (Pressure, Allentown, and Just the way you are is a bore).
Well the moodies have some blunders too, mostly the Octave album. Ty,
anyone who innovates won''t make everyone happy or be good at
everything. Another example, I like Whirlpool laundry appliances (Duet,
Senseon) and their refrigerators but they also came out with the
Calypso and their ranges are garbage. When you expect the world to be
perfect that's how you get unhappy. Nep

Ty, you must be joking. You haven't been to a show in a long time,
have you? Did you say you'd be seeing them in Dallas this tour? I'm
not sure if I read that or not. John Lodge has an incredible full head
of hair and will never go bald. Not all men do, you know.

Justin's hair loss is obvious, but he was so handsome in his younger
years (and still is) and so gifted, something had to suffer a little
with all that perfection sometime. He could've done worse than hair
loss, IMO.

Some men look pretty good bald. Like Dr. Phil and Phil Collins.

Cat,
I have been trying to get Ty to change something in his life and a new
hairstyle might be a good start, just as it was for John Lodge. I
myself use Just for Men which makes me look ten years longer if I
volunteer to be in theatre. I wonder what Justin will do with his
hair, might he eventually have a pony tail and a goatee, as some men do
when their hair thins too much? Nep

Lily, I saw a photo in a promotional poster for 2005 tour with his new
style. Next time I come I'll get the address. Now, I have an idea, why
don't the moody blues come out with a line of hair care products for
both men and women? Think of it, having an MB label on shampoo,
conditioner, hair dryers, curlers, etc! This line could be sold in
salons too! Nep

Nep, that's a great idea. It would be a sellout. And hey, everyone who
purchases anything from the line would get a free Moody Blues CD,
t-shirt or tickets to the concert of their choice with free airfare and
accomodations.

I WISH!!!

Oh Lily, and Ty:
Guess what my sister finally bought a Sears Kenmore Elite HE4t and I am
so excited!!! I always thought that they should give away a CD with
the machines but Whirlpool didn't think enough of the idea. Anyway, my
sister bought the orange ("Sedona") washer, not the blue, oh I was so
hoping she would get the Pacific Blue!!! Hers also has the sanitary
cycle, which I highly recommend for you, Ty. When you put in on "Extra
High" spin, the final spin dry is almost scary! Oh, I am so jealous -
I'm stuck with Neptunes.

You are a fag Bobby and your dose of meds is obviously expired. You've
fagged this nice group of Moodies fans long enough Bobby so time to
move it along fag. Go back to Moody Talk, they like ya there, don't
they? Shove that washer up you fat asshole too!
