I just picked up a used GR-33 (well, I guess that's the only way you
can get 'em now) and I want to use it for playing acoustic bass sounds
while comping with one of my jazz guitar duos. The question is what is
the best way to convert a jazz box (say, a Samick HJ-650 L-5 copy) to
drive it? I have heard that RMC piezo saddle pups track better than
the Roland pups, but what is involved in interfacing the 6 seperate
pups to the 13 pin Roland interface? Or will the Roland pups work well
enough for this application?
