I wanted to take a moment to tell you about a fantastic album that my
pal Gavin Hardkiss has put together and that we're releasing on my
Eighth Dimension Records label:
HAWKE - LOVE WON ANOTHER CD out now!
Eighth Dimension Records is pleased to announce the release of the new
album by Hawke, titled Love Won Another. Producer and DJ Gavin Hardkiss
has a long history of influencing dance music with his releases on
Sunburn, Six Degrees, Moonshine, and, of course, his own renowned
Hardkiss label (where he released his classic "3 Nudes In A Purple
Garden"). Love Won Another, Hawke's third full length album, harks back
to an ambitious time of Balearic beats and dreamy, melodic indie dance
production. Moving vocals singing hopeful lyrics combined with worldly
(and often Latin-tinged) musicianship just add to the uniqueness of
this effort. Uplifting tunes for a not-so-uplifting time and a
