Ty is totally irrelevant.
He has been doing this for over 10 years
and has no life other than posting to this ng.
Those who respond to his posts are fools as that is want he wants . He
wants some kind of reaction.
He has no life as all he does is post here.

I screw with Ty just to get a rise out of him. He's funny when he
throws those fits of his. I still think he's an asshole. I'm very
aware of what he wants from us. I don't mind giving it to him every
once in a while because it gets really entertaining for me. A fool I'm
not, though.

Keep on dreaming, kook. Apologists such as yourself who spout the
Moodies party line are the ones who are irrelevant and can't discuss
music in a rational and objective manner.

What a distortion. 10 years? Hardly. You don't know anything about
me or my life, asshole. All I've done is comment on the Moodies music
and discussed certain aspects of their career. Afterall, that is the
whole point of a newsgroup like this. It's for EVERYONE who wants to
talk about the MB's. Nowhere did I see a sign that stated that you
must only be an ass kisser here. If you want to only congregate with
other ass kissers, then go start your own message board.

Well, I guess you better look in the mirror and see that sign on your
forehead that says "fool" because all you've done with your post is
give me attention. The same is true of the other babbling hypocrite
kook, Moodybluer.

No, again you are full of shit. At least I know what I'm talking about
when I discuss music. I'm a classically trained musician and I know a
lot of what I speak, and my opinions are informed. That is what sets
me apart from many of the ass kissers and kooks here, many of whom
don't have no real working knowledge of music, the exact same lot who
worship at the feet of the Moodies and pretend that they are some kind
of angelic beings or extra-terrestrials. Of course, I know a lot
better than that.

Now everyone,
Ty has more to do than just this board. He has to go to his mental
health facility regularly for psychoeducational groups, social
activities, individual counseling, and medication management.

Classically trained musician my ass. Ty's in one of his delusional
moments again. I didn't realize you could perform at the local
Mini-Mart, Ty. Do they stick you in the fruit and nuts section?
MoodyBluer may not be perfect but she says a lot of truth. I should
have known you'd respond with bitching, as usual. You're such an
asshole.

Ty,
Since you are a classically trained pianist, what are your favorite
classical composers? Bach, Beethoven, Vivendi, Tchiachovsky? Also,
did you attend a university to study music and if so, where?

That means that they DO have a real working knowledge of music: don't
have no=double negative.

Jeff, I just want to know if Ty plays an instrument or has classes in
music - I did. I was in college musicals and played a saxophone in
stage band (get that hornsmasher, I'll have to look at your website).
Now, Jeff, do you have an instrument? Sometimes I wish Blue Jay did,
she might not be so unhappy.

At the moment, I enjoy Bach the most. He has a lot of very easy
flowing stuff, and a lot of it was easy to catch on to when I first
started. I have memorized a few Bach pieces. Beethoven? I like to
play something simple like a piece such as Fur Elise from time to time,
but I really don't practice too many other pieces of Beethoven.
To be quite honest, I think improvising, playing by ear, and playing
from chord charts (ie..so called fake books) is where it's at and not
necessarily great sight reading -though it's a good skill to have
especially if you are a session musician. If you can sightread, but
can't play by ear, no band will want to hire you. If I read music for
pleasure which I do at times, I like to do easy flowing stuff. I
don't really have the time or patience anymore to sightread the more
complex stuff, and I don't care at all about being great at it or
winning competitions. I have no interest to be a classical pianist for
a living as there is so little money in it. There's more action in
genres like rock and jazz, and of course you get more groupies and
money.
The good thing about playing classical is that you pick up on excellent
fingering techniques on the keyboard. I have learned so much about how
to facilitate better and more efficient hand and finger movement while
playing and etc. There are so many little tricks... a lot of it seems
so very subtle but makes a lot of difference in the end.

Well then, Ty, I think you could enjoy hanging around Patrick. Liberace
had young male pianists who hung around him all the time!

"That means that they DO have a real working knowledge of music: don't

You're right, Jeff. But the Rolling Stones made millions on a double
negative when they sang "I Can't Get No Satisfaction." Not always a
bad thing ...
It was a "Ty"po anyway.
