Message board on Justin's official site [message #224436] Sat, 16 April 2005 23:04

Today, I came across Justin Hayward's official message board, which
appears to be under construction, at the following link:

http://justinhayward.com/bbs

I had the honor of posting the very first message there. It's probably
the first time I've been first at anything..LOL..

Oh My God.

If this is really on his Official Website, what a mistake. He knows
what happens on message boards, believe me.

I just looked over his Official Website, though, and did not see any
message board.

I think this is "unofficial".

Just my opinion.

You kill me, though, Ty. Trust you to be the first, and the subject
matter is no surprise. :-)

Oh good grief. And THAT was your post? On Moraz?

Any bets on when it'll be removed?

I find it highly odd there is no mention of this on his site.
What's going on here?

Ty, I wonder,
Did you happen to ask Justin what antidepressant he takes? He would
certainly need one to deal with some of his "fans". Also, what hair
care products does he use?

There's no message board on Justin's official site. Maybe more of Ty's
bullshit. Of course he'd be the first to post. This little twerp
won't give up! I suppose now he thinks JUSTIN wants him and made a
message board just so they could write to each other!

I have nothing to do with that board, and I certainly did not create
it.

So how did I find out about it? All I did was take a guess that
perhaps a board was under construction (in light of the summer tour) so
I entered the address http://justinhayward.com/bbs into my web browser.
A lot of websites have a BBS directory for their message boards, so I
assumed that Justin's site would perhaps be the same.

Anyway, if you have a question about the message board, then you should
send a email to the people who administrate Justin's site and ask 'em
what's up. Personally, I think a Justin message board would be
interesting considering how boring and stale the current crop of boards
are right now. A lot of the fan run message boards out there are run
with an iron fist and are dull.

Indeed, I have done just that... and asked them to remove it.
It'll just get ugly.

Don't ruin a beautiful site with garbage, please. Anybody else? Send
it here;

If you look at the portfolio, you'll see Justin's site. I filled in
the contact section. I really don't know if this was the place or
not, but they did design the site so they would have a way to connect
with who needs to be, I suppose.

We'll see what happens.

contact section. Wonder if they gave gotten enough already. You can

Did you ever think that perhaps Justin is curious to read what his fans
think, and will not act upon your complaint to close the board down?

I think that a Justin Hayward message board would be a viable idea if
it has moderator watching it, but I think they could be using a better
format than the one you see at the link I provided. I think it would
be really great if there were a Q&A section similar to the Mike Pinder
board.

Let's face it. The boards that are out there right now are crap.
It's a lot of gestapo-esque censorship where you have to walk on
eggshells to avoid getting a post edited or deleted. A lot of politics
are also involved where a lot of the fan moderators make rules for
different people and unfairly give breaks to their pals while coming
down hard on others. Say something unpopular, even if it's true, and
you're toast. I say, if Justin wants to put out a message board and
wants to interact with fans, I'm all for it.

Just a guess...but maybe the folks at the real justinhayward.com got
wise to the fact 'someone' was using his name for a board that was not
authorized.

No,
Justin wasn't being used, but the ass, slacker that hacked into the
site was using his email handle TO FOOL unsuspecting sorts. That "you
are not authorized warning" is also due most likely to a tight firewall
notice, cookie suppression or security level holding you out, in any
way but loose, it doesn't matter for it looks like no more posting....

But then rumors have such a way of the world anymores on this here
board. Always takes just one asshole to really screw things up for
everyone else than BLAM.

It's over.

Too bad Lodgerland didn't have a more attentive Admin, eh? LoL.

GOOD! It was a total mistake. I would hate to see a message board on
his website. I hope Blue Jay is right, and they were alerted and wiped

Sounds mean, I know, but it would not have worked. However, curiosity

The message board that Ty created, I mean, posted about is in no way a
part of JustinHayward.com. I remember one of you mentioning something
about a paying site; John Lodge still has his members only board but
does not have a public board any longer. I think both of these men
know what a mistake it would be to have them. Everyone is on to Ty
anyway so his latest attempt at causing trouble has been thwarted.

BlueJay, you were exactly right in your post.

"Someone"? Are you trying to insinuate that *I* had something to do
with setting that board up in an unauthorized manner?

Quite honestly, as it relates to the Justin Hayward public board and
the controversy at to whether or not it's a "hoax" and if I'm behind
it, I'm getting tired of reading the baseless allegations and
insinuations of kook conspiracy buffs here and at other Moody Blues
chat sites. All of whom insanely try to implicate me as some kind of
hacker, or as one who resorts to using trickery to somehow "fool"
online people about a message board. Get real and get a grip!

The idea that *I* would try to perpetuate a hoax about some Justin
Hayward board is absurd, and the fact that some are desperately
suggesting and believing it is just more evidence that a lot of these
same people simply can't stand the fact that they don't have a leg to
stand on when discussing/debating opinions and facts with me on these
Moody Blues groups. They don't like how I parrot unpopular views. So
just because they can never best me in any argument as I usually get
the better of them because I have all my ducks in a row, they feel the
only way to get a cheap victory over me is to do something underhanded
like making these kind of baseless and false allegations. I guess it
makes them feel like they got one-up on me, but the fact is that they
come away with egg all over their faces. They look like the buffoons.

I do think it somewhat serious that I'm being accused of all of this
and more when I did nothing wrong but pass along some info which I
thought would be of interest. The reason why I take it seriously is
that there are people reading who might actually believe all of these
allegations are true, and if they are mentally unstable or whacked
which is common on Moodies sites, they might try to come after me in
the name of vigilante justice. I think it's stupid how people at these
other sites are making charges that I hacked into the Justin
Hayward.com site and set up a board there because from a logical
standpoint it really isn't feasible. It's pretty silly. It's
obvious that I don't have the know how or technical abilities to pull
something like that off, because if I did have that kind of skill, do
you think I'd be using a dial-up service like AOL - which is basically
internet on training wheels? And besides, why would I care to bother,
especially when you can go to jail for doing stuff like that? It's
not worth it.

So what is up with the Justin Hayward message board and what
happened to it? I don't believe it is a hoax at all as it appears
that it is in fact something that was set up by Justin's website
people. Maybe it's a board they that is under construction and will be
ready to go for the summer tour? Maybe it's a board that they
originally planed to add to the site, but right before the site
officially opened they ditched the idea? Who knows...

There were actually several slacker's who persisted in bringing down
Lodgerland, and no doubt were also in on the slack attacks to Justin's
site.

After watching you for years, I've come to the conclusion Ty, you
*need* a life man. Yer the worst sort of all Moody's fans to come on
this International Moody Board and proclaim such innocence, to
forgeries, when you yerself admitted to me, that on many occassions YOU
cloned my name for the sole purpose of having others *think* it was me.
Yer not alone however in this hoax making. Why not move on now? Yer
screen name is all over this international Moody's board and a majority
of people you attempt to correspond with you, have a loathing of
yerself.

And the idiots who persist in showing their asses on this board, by
coming on and blithering the stupid shit-ola they plant here are no
better. I am not speaking about Just Me btw, who has held an ascerbic
opinion of you Ty, long before I did. I'm speaking about those who
sign on, come to this board and post banal, stupid crap in some effort
and hope I suppose to be seen. They need to move on too.

Frankly, Karma Cosmic Paybacks do have a way of turning the wheel,
becuz time goes in a circle, not a straight avenue.....persist at yer
own peril.

This is exactly what happened to Justin's site the first time, not long
after the website was launched in 2000, and you were also the first to
post about the BBS page, with enthusiasm, on johnlodge.com. In 2000,
people were able to post for a day or two until the Webmaster took the
page down.

It does look too coincidental to be an accident, Ty.
