.............and indeed I did. Listening to Air America around 7:30pm,
I am hearing the end part of Talking Out Of Turn. Just the last part,
no singing. Yet another talk show Moody fan, I suppose.

Mike Webb on KIRO710 (the Air America station for my area), Seattle,
uses QUESTION, every night.

Steph!!! I was excited to get the cd.... so much so I tried to play
it in the car. LOL

We have a new radio station here. It's all classic rock. Their first week
n the air was somethin' else....a continual run of "Stairway To Heaven"
hours and hours...days and days. I had to wonder if they were trying to
play it to death. Well the day came they finally aired and it's been pretty
enjoyable since. Twice I've heard the Moodies. Both times "The Story in
Your Eyes". Yesterday on my way in to work I heard a song I'd never heard
before. It sounded like John's voice. It really did. But I don't ever
remember John doing the song...I think I've heard all of his songs and all
of the Moodies songs. There were some killer giutar parts that only Justin
could pull off... I'd sure like to hear the song again. They didn't tell
the name or artist. Trying to guess a title from the lyrics....close as I
could come was "On the wings of the night" and "No turning back now" .
I'vd done some lyric searches and haven't been very successful. The only
possible lead I have right now is maybe a Pink Floyd song called "The
Turning Away" or maybe it's "On the Turning Away"??? I don't have that
Floyd song...if anyone out there on this board does would you listen it for
me and tell me if you hear John's voice? and sorry the OT.

about the CD that came in the mail...I did the same thing when mine came.
Except I wasn't in the car. That puppy went right into my CD player the
next thing I heard was the unmistakable sound of Data files. Fom there it
was a mad dash to the PC to see what was there. It took a week to get the
Wee Beastie song out of my brain. :-) lol I hope you enjoyed the
animation. You're my animation expert. I was impressed with the creativity
coming out of that home studio. I think it might be a nice thing for the
artist to offer up to the PBS kids network website.

Take care TooOtaku.

from
Octavia :-) hehehee

An expert? LOL, just a big fan, I would say. Thanks for the
compliment. It appers to be stop action animation, like Robot Chicken
(on Adult Swin LATE) that is more aimed at adults, it would scare
small children!!! (((:O

It is very clear he's into childern. Ray could do the same with song,
I'm sure you noticed. Even for DOFP, Ray has a soft place for kids
singing about fireflies and and castles in the air. Nicky should call
him up, eh?

You have the artist right: it's Pink Floyd and I think the correct
title is "Turning Away." I hadn't really thought about David Gilmour's
voice being similar to John's voice but the song does sound like
something that could've come from the Moody Blues and from John in
particular.I'm not certain which Pink Floyd album the song is from --
want to say it's from "The Final Curtain." It's one of those songs I've
been meaning to get a copy of for several years but keep putting it
off..over and over again.
