In order to try to preserve the old folk and griot instrumental culture of
the Senegambian region Daniel Jatta from Gambia has set up a cultural center
in Gambia at his birthplace the village Mandinari. Daniel invites anyone who
wants to study the lute, harp and fiddle instrument traditions to contact
him for more information at daniel.jatta [at] telia.com. More information can
