Looks like those of us in the U.S. will get a summer treat! So far, the only
information I can find is for a concert in Atlanta on June 21, but I'm sure
more will follow in the next few weeks.

Save your money! Or go buy a remastered CD and enjoy it.
I saw them here in CA in January...and they were VERY disappointing. I
heard someone say (as they were leaving)..."Boy...they were much better than
STYX last month. I had to laugh.
Highlights...what few there were:
Lovely To See You...decent opener
Higher and Higher...where'd they pull that put from? Fantastic
Are You Sitting Comfortably?...so they can still play if they want
to...jaw-droppingly good
Low points:
Most of the rest of the show. The song selection hasn't changed much in 15
years. They drop older "greatest hits" to only replace them with newer (and
weaker) ones. They play it very safe.
Graeme just sitting at his kit most of the time..."lip-playing" Gordon was
the real drummer. Funny too...Graeme had the sheet music in front of him.
It didn't help much.
John can't hit the high notes anymore. Many songs that require the high
register to work (Isn't Life Strange comes to mind) were very weak. But he
can posture just fine...still looks the part of the rock star.
Having female backing vocals...out of place and sounded funny.
Ray's not being there left a big hole. Norda Mullen is a very accomplished
musician and great flute player, but Ray's "the man". Bernie Barlow on keys
and backing vocals...a bump on a log. Reminds me of Linda McCartney (RIP)
in WINGS.
Justin looked bored, but played and sang well.
Paul is an awesome musician too, but the "plastic" sounding keys will never
replace a Mellotron.
The band as a whole is washed up IMHO. I am HUGE fan and saw them back in
1978 w/ Moraz. They were better then, but boy do I wish I'd seen the
original band in the early '70's. This time around the name is bigger than
the music...hang it up guys! And playing at a casino I think the audience
was too drunk to notice how badly they played. At least the "groupies" in
the front row had a good time.

P.S. I think I'll go play my DVD of Justin's solo show at the Coach House
in San Juan Capistrano from 1998. That was an awesome show with an amazing
set list. Damn...wished I had gone!

Have you checked out the JH DVD from the R&R HoF?

I saw them at the Pechanga Theatre (Casino) in Temecula CA on January 28,
2005. The first of two night there.
Here's more info:

Yes...I ordered it through the Threshold store in UK. Got it for around
$25.00 with shipping...not the $150.00-300.00 it was going for on eBay.
It's fantastic!

Seriously?? Darn, I should have bought a couple and sold the extras on
E-bay? (!!) I can't understand why some people are so dense!

I sure do hope that John will change his 'words of wisdom and whit'.
It would be nice, too, if the boyz would (at least) change the
set-list.
