Do you recognize the names of some of Ray's Band members?
I found this site searching out a rare piece of vinyl that landed here
today... "The Perishers Sing (Well Sort Of)"
Seems it's part of a comic strip in the Daily Mirror. 1979 Nicky also sings
on this one. There sure is a lot of flute. Good music...kinda funky .... :)
Where are you now Trevor? Are you the same guy that's huge into the music
and movie business?

On this album Trevor put together there's a young lady by the name of
Barbara Sexton...she sings the part of Maisie. She'd be the girl in the
comic stip getting all the respect so often not doled out by the masculine
gender. ;) Not! She does a great job of her part. Her voice is very much
like the female voice in Meatloaf's "Paradie by the Dashboards Lights" :)
Poor Meat.. LOL
Anyway I did a search for Barbara today ...to see what became of "Maisie"
and ....looks to me like she made really good use of those sleepless nights
Ray sings about in "In Your Song" She makes illuminated keyboards and has
won awards for doing so. So just in case there are any sleepless
songwriters out there looking for a keyboard in the night....here's a couple
