PEOPLE IN A BOX - SOPHOMORE ALBUM FIND YOU AGAIN RELEASES TODAY!
NASHVILLE, TN February 1, 2005: "Find You Again" has been four years
in the making and marks the second album for Nashville-based dance act
People In A Box. "Its taken a lot of patience to move at such a slow
pace, but fans and new listeners alike will be pleased with the
result," says founder & front man Kurt Kirton.
Not straying too far from their dance-pop/eurodance sound, PIB dabbles
in trance on several cuts, including the highly successful first
single, "Take Me." Listeners can still download the song in its
entirety, in addition to multiple remixes, at www.peopleinabox.com (see
the Other page).
The project presents twelve songs (with two being remixes), featuring
original writing by PIB on seven of the ten. "I love covering obscure
but hooky songs," Kirton confesses. Roxette, Whiteheart, and Farrell &
Farrell are among the artists whose songs have been given the PIB
treatment.
Kirton's smoothe sultry vocals are complemented by numerous guest
vocalists (including Farrell & Farrell's Jayne Farrell as well as Barry
[Code of Ethics] Blaze) in addition to band members Jennifer Ragsdill
and Kathleen Abel, who are powerful impressive vocalists in their own
right. All mesh together well with stellar programming to yield a
dance album that is quickly gaining mainstream attention.
"If you've been waiting for a solid, high-energy, vocal dance album,
this is it." All tracks on "Find You Again" can be previewed, and the
album can be purchased via the bands web site.
